Default new to the forum.

hi my name is yonick im 22 yrs old, i live in mcallen, tx i currently own a 1974 cb550 but im looking to buy a cbr bike i haven't made up my mind on what i wanna save up for just yet.

i wanted to know how the 1st gen cbr is on handling?
anyone care to fill me in?

Hey there Dookie, I really like those old school CBs. They're making a comeback you know... Can't really articulate on 1st generations, but I'm sure compared to the 550, it'll feel like a bullet. May want to ask in the bike specific sections, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to fill you in.

wow well thank you for the information. i should have been more specific yes i was speaking of the cbr 600 and 1000 "hurricane" what i really would want would be a cbr250 or 400rr but since im pretty sure i won't come around one of those around here....

also does any one think that on 1st gen cbr600 i could fit nsr fairings. im just inquiring since i am loving the look of the nsr. any information would be a great deal of help. thank you very much.
