Nice bike... love the color! Welcome, of course... and they aren't lieing about the mods. This site + job that lets me surf all I want = $400 worth of the "tip of the iceburge" mods I've begun planning. The VERY FIRST mod I would suggest, frame sliders. If it's your first bike, you're GOING to drop it. The question is not if you will, but rather when. It happens... don't let it bring you down! Heck, there are plenty of us that have embarassing stories about how it fell over in a parking lot, driveway, put your foot on some loose dirt at a stoplight, any of that. Those same people all have praises for the money frame sliders saved them. Great gear to protect your body, Frame slider "gear" to protect your bike! Ride safe and welcome to this amazing way of life!

Thanks for the welcome ... I bought my bike at Star City Powersports in Roanoke, VA. They only let me take the bikes around their parking lot which consisted close to a1/8 mile straight away and about 50 or so parking spaces. That was enough for me to decide and have each bike comfortably at 60 - 75. After I signed all the paper work .. they basically put their hands over their eyes and said we don't see anything and I left to go about my business ...lol.

So today my bike went into and outta the shop for its first scheduled breakin maintaince(sp). Installing Frame Sliders and Swing arm protectors were done aswell. . Currently the bike has 727 much enjoyedmiles on her. Thanks again for everyone's advice and comments!

Nube Question about highway speeds where the speed limit is 65 - 70mph... is it normal for me to feel the wind soo much where the bike steadily rocks (My lane movement might be 3 - 6 inches at times)? Speeds vary from 65 - 80mphs when I start tofeel this. Should I be slowing down or is this normal andI keep riding ok? I've checked my tires and they are ok.
