Hey everyone I thought I would introduce myself. Im a college student that just spent his summer savings on a 1997 CBR 600 F3. best decision I have made this year! Any ideas on things that would make it a better bike ? Some things that are already done to it is aftermarket blinkers, micron exhaust and license plate.

Any ideas welcome.

Welcome to the forum.
There are many things you can do to make the bike better, but how far do you want to get into it and what do you hope to achive? The best thing to do is just make sure that everything is in good working order and ride it. Do a few little thing to make it you own. If you get into serious motor and suspension mods, you will be spending tons of cash doing so.

Welcome to CBRF....first thing is get to know the bike. Perform a thorough inspection, like what Demon said. Focus on what the bike needs in terms of safety...then once bike is solid, then you can dump money into cosmetics and performance...

Welcome to CBRF!

Congrats on getting your F3. We have a very active F3 section here to get help & tips on mods & maintenatnce.

Find a factory shop manual (may be a link here for a download) & familiarize yourself w/ it. Regular & preventative maintenance is the key to keeping your bike running & running properly. Regular maint makes it "better". ;-)

Good to have you w/ us.
