Hi everybody.

Just signed up on the forum. I think I may have had an account a long time ago, but I don't remember.

I like in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. My street ride is a 2001 CBR929, and my track bike is a 2003 SV650S. I've been riding for about 24 years. I just got the 929 about a month ago, but I had one back in 2001/2002. It was victim of my stupidity. I then got a CBR600F4 and rode it on the street and track for a few years. Then got an SV650 for street and track, then an Aprilia Tuono for one season, and now the 929 for street.

That's all for now. Thanks

-Dave

Welcome to the forum Dave.

I know I've read "Kitchener, Ontario" b/f but don't recall if it was you that mentioned it.

All good bikes you mentioned...great choices.

Good to have you w/ us.

I'm guessing there are other people from Kitchener on here, it's not a small city, by Canadian standards at least. haha

So it seems like I don't have very much access to my profile and settings... is this normal for a new user? I can't see options for sig or avatar, and even when I click on my own name to see the public profile I get "doozerdave, you do not have permission to access this page."

Any ideas? I've never had this happen on any other VBulletin forums...

Thanks

-Dave

Never mind, I guess I missed the note that I have to wait for an Admin to fully activate my account. It's all good now!

So I didn't mention much about my 929 plans. I'm planning to make it into a Supersport Touring machine. Already have a Sargent seat and Freestyle Ingenuity bar risers installed. Need to get a nice MX bar to make it cozy and add a Ventura rack to hold luggage. Here is a shot of my bike with a custom CBR decal on the tail:

I've got a full Erion exhaust that I'll be installing on Monday, will be nice to get rid of the ugly painted pipe.
