Default New first bike

So my dad kept the silver cbr 600rr for himself and let me buy a 2006 CBR 600rr its the oarnge one with black flames wasnt to fond of the color at first but it has grown on me in the past day i just brought it home today. Its still in break in the owners manual is very vague about the subject and there is so many opinions on how you should break your bike in its rather confusing. Any way i was wondering in your opinions what is the cleanest/simplest looking fender eliminator kit i like the one my dads bike has it pivots and its mounted pretty far back under the tail its just a plate holder no turn signals but when he turns his blinker on the taillight flashes how does his do that mine doesent flash when i put my blinker on ??

I can only give you advice on the "Breaking in" of a new bike, everyone has an opinion on this, so expect a few replies.
Some say thrash the crap out of em straight away, others say gradually increase your speed and rev range, I go with the later.

The big thing with any donk is heat, with a water cooled bike your half way there. Don't labour the motor, if your going up a hill don't let the bike struggle, change down. Gradually increase the amount of berries (revs) that you give the bike as you gradually increase the speed. If your on a long stretch of road, vary the speed, (don't sit on the one speed) slow down, speed up, easy.
Let your bike warm up for a while before you ride it, gets the oil to the critical parts of the motor, pull in the clutch a couple of times, gets the oil onto the plates. Change the oil when your supposed to.

Congratulations with your new bike, you lucky bugger. And be carefull out there.
