Default New F4i Rider from NJ

Hi Guys, new to the board and to motorcycles. Always loved them but was always preoccupied with my track car. Now i finally decided to take a break and ride. Been loving it.

I'm in Central Jersey, edison area and would love to meet up with some riders for a nice cruise.

Thanks and be safe!

Welcome aboard!

We have some members in your area. Perhaps you'll meet up w/ them at some point.

What do you ride & what is your riding experience?

thanks GOTCBR! I have a 2002 CBR600 F4i. Just started this year. Made sure I got all the right gear and taking things in steps. Plan to take it easy and learn as well as take the safety riding course to just make sure I'm not missing any tips on riding safely.

Ah yes, the split-seat model club. ;-)

Excellent to hear about you having protective gear & taking the safety course. It will pay dividends. Always remember to *Ride your own ride*.

I got lucky with the bike, my buddy's neighbor was selling at the right time. Got a great deal. So far removed the fender eliminator, did an oil change, brake fluid flush, and replaced the Fuel Pressure Regulator.

Also did a nice new mount for the license plate.

My dog Jade loves the bike!

Soon to come, I want to shorten the exhaust. maybe some shorty levers but definitely new tires. The tires on there are now 6 years old.

Welcome to the forum and riding.

Check the regional section for riders near you. Make sure to find riders that ride around your skill level. You don't want to be pushed past your comfort zone.

Cute pup. ;-)

Be sure to check your fuel line for cracks & leaks. Often happens when lifting tank.
