Default New F4i Owner In Fayetteville, NC

My names Brad. I just bought my first street bike Friday. A 2001 Honda CBR F4i. I love it. It had 22,000 miles on it, and had a problem running. It runs, just misses. Low compression on cylinder 3. It was pretty cheap so I bought a new motor for it and I should have it this week. I cant wait. The motors probably easily fixable but I wanted to put in a motor with less miles. The new one has 11k on it. Got it for a steal as well. Has a Muzzy slipon, it's lowered, and everything's polished. New tires & brakes. Let me know what you think. Oh and if any of you are in Fayetteville send me a pm.

Welcome! F4i's are pretty easy to work on. I have an 08 1000rr. Taking the fairings off of that are fun!

yea i printed out the fsm for it.... all 400+ pages lol. it didnt look too bad. I just paid the guy with the motor, should be here in 3 days. now i have a saturday project hehe. i cant wait. I can ride on this motor, but it misses after sitting at a stoplight for a min until i hit the higher rpms, then it runs ok. I might tear the old motor down after i get it out and see what kind of fix it is. if its an easy fix someone can buy a good cheap motor from me lol
