Default Just a friendly hello

Hi all. Just joined the forum to use it as a resource on a possible project I will be starting. I don't actually own a CBR, I have a 1982 CB900F (supersport) with about 9000 miles on it.

I recently acquired a CBR600 F2 (1992) as a parts bike. I wanted to use the forks as an upgrade to my bike. I was also considering using the swingarm as an upgrade and converting it to a monoshock rear.

I have come to the forum looking for information, knowledge, parts, and friendly chit chat. I hope you are all as welcoming as everyone over at cb1100f.net and I am glad the forum is here as a valuable resource.

Welcome aboard, Brian!
That's an interesting conversion, man. I wish you the best of luck. If you have any questions, post 'em up. Certainly not something you see every day, tho.
Enjoy the forum!

As crazy as it sounds, it is quite common over on the other forum. People use the entire CBR F2 front ends including wheels and swap out rear swingarms with the F2 rear wheel. I like many, can never leave well enough alone.

If you're intersted you can take a look at some of the bikes here: http://www.cb1100f.net/modules.php?n...viewforum&f=16

I just hope people aren't shy about selling their parts to a new member!
