Default New CBR owners in Florida

My husband and I bought a 90 CBR1000f Hurricane yesterday. It runs great and hard. We are interested in fixing it up some since it is 21 years old. We wanted to join to talk with other CBR owners, get some tips, and maybe even find some parts.

Welcome to both of you! Great find. Looks great. You'll find plenty of help here I think. ;-) I hope anyway! :-)

Thanks for the welcome. We tore it down a bit last night. The wheels are so pitted we are painting them black. The project idea for the bike is black and Orange. Our only problem is finding some new fairings. It's been laid down on the left side. The side fairing is still in one piece, but the small section between the gauges and side is pretty much gone. It's going to be a fun project! My husband and I are both mechanics, and I do a little airbrushing myself. Yes, I have pics if anyone is interested

Welcome to the forum!

Bike looks to be in pretty good shape. As far as plastics, you may be able to get some off ebay or craigs. Depending on peices that you are needing. But should be a fun project
