Good tires and sounds like ya got it all covered too with pretty much everything else. Enjoy the forum.

Previous owner must have dropped something on it.

I didn't replace the sprockets with the chain since the local shop did not have any in stock, but I have since ordered some steel ones online and will be replacing them as soon as they arrive. Just ordered some Pilot Powers to replace the BT016s that are on it. Will be picking up the brakes when I get my tires so I'll get the brake job done...then I can go ride again! Can't wait for the weather to clear up around here...and my BF to get his poor 600 fixed.

Yeah, its too quiet. My bf has a D&D on his 600 and I can hear it over my bike when I'm riding. New exhaust will come in time, have to recover from buying the bike first.

Put 250 miles on 'er yesterday. Love the new tires! They inspired more confidence in the corners, even got some cool GoPro footage of the ride.

Been a while since I checked in here. Put about 2000 miles on the bike now.

Love the new sprockets, 15/44 combo. One down in the front, one up in the rear and it still fits the stock chain. Changed out the front and rear brakes and a fresh oil change. Been getting some cool video on the bike with my GoPro HD camera. No knee dragging action, but it s a lot of fun! Shots from my helmet, gas tank, and rear passenger peg.
