Hey all,

New member of the forums from the frozen north. Been riding off and on over the past 13 years, mostly street with some track time on a 125cc Honda GP bike.

I joined the Fireblade brotherhood by selling my previous bike, a 1996 YZF600 that I hadn't ridden in a few years, and getting an '00 929. It's bone stock, down to the original Pilot Sports. The previous owner hardly rode it; there's only 2049 km on the clock. Needs new rubber and some other small things done, but it's a looker.

Have a good one,

MikeG929

Welcome to the forum.

Congrats on finding a nice 929. That seems to be a rare color. We don't many of them like that.

No riding season for me, as of yet. I had planned on putting money into the YZF as I hadn't ridden it in 3 years owing to "life", as no doubt happens to many others also. I decided to sell it, and ended doing part trade for the CBR. I do have to start over getting my license, so that doesn't help matters.

I hope to be back on the road before the end of the summer(crosses fingers). For now I'm reduced to heat cycles on the 929 in my garage.

Know all about 'life' Mike - up to my armpits on a cottage restoration and it's keeping me from riding

Oh well, Winter down here anyway.

Get out there and ride man!

Cheers, SB
