Default Needing advice

What’s up guys, I’m new to this forum. I’m in the market for a CBR 1000RR and was wondering if anyone has any advice on the most comfortable and reliable year? I’m 6’2” 190Lbs and I’m mainly just going to be riding around the city. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks,

Welcome Jesse Lynn to the forum. I'd suggest posting this question in the 1000 RR section as you may get a better response. For me, comfort is not the word that comes to mind with any of the RR's. Nothing against them, but with the Clip-on's mounted below the triple tree, having your weight on your wrists is almost a given except when riding at highway speeds. I hope you find some better answers there.

Agreed, would not be my first choice for a town bike, however I think the 06/07 models were the 'comfiest'

There are better choices for around-town bikes but good luck to you.

Well I appreciate the luck but I wouldn't change my bike for another bike at all I love my 929 even if it is just riding around town but I'm completely done with it except for the fact that it won't prime I did a full frame swap do front clip a new forks new triple tree do lower clamp and also a new ignition and I think me swapping the ignition out with a new one aftermarket off of eBay is may have caused it because I believe that for the ECM to tell the fuel pump to prime it has to be 9 volts from the ignition switch to the computer to the fuel pump and I believe the ignition I have is sending a straight 12 volt and I don't know what to do if I have to make a jumper on the bottom end of the wiring harness of the ignition because I pretty sure that it doesn't have a zener diode and this ignition like the factory does if I if I'm right I don't know for sure but from the research that I have seen and read That's what I've gathered but any help at all would be highly appreciative

Yes, find a factory ignition system and put that on and you'll probably be ok.
