Liter Bike...
So I just got an '06 CBR 1000RR as a first bike and I was wondering if perhaps I should have gotten something smaller? Those 600's seemed a little too small for me and a 250 just felt like a moped. Perhaps I should have gotten a 929 instead of the 1000 yet the liter-bike just felt better...
Alright, calm down, I'm just kidding. I have been riding for almost 5 years and I did have a 600RR before getting the mighty 1000 as well as having an older F2 before the 600RR. So far this season I have over 7000 miles on the 1000 and not one problem. No wrecks although I know I will go down like a $5 ***** someday. Then again, I always go through a route with caution before I turn around and get a little crazy, just to make sure that there is no gravel and debris in any of the turns. That has saved me a few times, I'm sure of it. I was posting on this site for a bit until that virus attack that occurred awhile back. Now I am a regular at OhioRiders for the most part. MadGreek is my little cousin. Hi cousin! Stop with that Ethiopian white-boy look and put on a few pounds.
I hope I get a chance to ride with the other Ohio folks on here but time is short. Glad to be back...

600's...
To tell you the truth, I think my 1000 is the easiest bike I have ever rode. Not as much shifting, great handling, and the front end stays put for the most part. It corners like a 600 but I hear on the track you get more fatigued with a heavier bike, hence having a 600 as a track warrior. Next year I want to get a few track days in yet I am a street rider first and foremost.
