Default New Liter Bike - '07 or '08?

Hi, Riders.

Here are the facts:

The pilot: 6' 2" with 34" inseam. 170 lbs.

The use: 4 to 5 hour sport rides on the street. No track days. No passengers.
I ride my bikes every day. They're not garage/bike night queens!

The Other Bike: FJR 1300 ABS wiith 38,000 miles. (Love it for it's purpose. Keeping it.)

The Bike sold to buy a Liter Bike: '02 F4i (Rode it for 13,000 miles)

Reason I'm Looking: F4i to buzzy/"busy" at highway speeds. My legs were cramping.

Available Liter Bikes (New leftovers): '07 $6,900 (asking) '08 $7,600 (still negotiating)

The question: Which year FOR STREET RIDING?

Thanks.

S.

+1 on '08. (Mine has no oil issues.) Get the better seat.

+1 for the 08. A Corbin seat is a nice addition like mine, or the honda energy seat.

I love the looks of the 07, but if it were me, I'd get the 08. Unless you got the 07 for 2500 less, (which would never happen) then maybe I would go with the 07. But with prices that close, there really isnt any comparision.

If the 08 weren't so ugly then i'd agree with everyone, but I'm happy with my 07. As they said though, get whatever looks better to you. You're the one who has to be happy with it.
