That's a real cool bike, Ryan. I own a KLR, but always had Honda trail bikes growing up. I like what you've done with that one. I thought about converting a Honda myself.
I always liked the idea of not having to trailer a dirt bike everywhere. Nice to be able to just hop on and ride wherever...
Welcome to the forum, man... and I wish you luck with getting a CBR.

Dylan- Thanks man, yeah it's a fun bike. Loads of bottom end torque. But definitely looking forward to the extra power of a CBR .
Oldschool- Right now I'm looking at the 600rr. But if i could get a good deal on a 1000rr, I might go with that. Mainly because i really like the side exit exhaust. But we'll have to see.

Welcome
Hiyu Ryan... a nice looking 230 ? you have there mate.
..... om an old honda dirt bike rider from way back too...
....an original XL250 and a couple of XR500's ... loved them all !!
When you say you are hoping to pick up a "NEW" CBR ... do you mean literally new or a used one ...??
If you are new to road bikes , then personally I would suggest a good used one ....heaps!!!! cheaper and then it don't hurt half as much in the pocket if you ever do throw it down the road ...
Welcome to the CBRF ....
BTW : Need any help around here just PM me :-)

Hey classic, thank you for the kind compliments. At this moment I'm looking at a new bike from a dealer. Now with that said if i could find a good condition bike used i might would consider that aswell. But a lot of the blokes around here ride v-twins, so finding a good used CBR would be difficult at best.
