Default I've had an amazing find!!!

Hi all, as of today I am the proud owner of a '99 plate CBR600FX anniversary edition. I found this bike in one of my local dealerships and it caught my eye straight away being that it is white with the full Castrol race graphics. Not only that the bike has a genuine 454 miles on the clock!!!!!!!!

Apparently the previous owner was not short of a few quid, rode it a few times then stored it in his heated garage for 10 years. I am not lying when I say that this is a brand new, 10 year old bike . It looks and rides like new so you can understand why I had to have it.

Is it rare to see 1 of these bikes with the Castrol colours as I have yet to see 1?

I look forward to being a part of the forum. Cheers

Hello Capoach, that sounds like quite the find; congratulations. With only 454 miles, that thing's not even broken in yet! You'll have to post some pics (mandatory).

hey and welcome to the forums!! :-)

that sounds like a wonderful find and I bet you can't stop smiling :-)

yes, pictures are a must .. looking forward to seeing this

now, promise me something ..you won't put on a crappy, midrange killer exhaust, paint it all matt black and expect us all to say "sweet ride" ... sorry, just my Brish Humour .. I love bikes that are kept standard and in mint condition ...

enjoy the forums and be safe :-)
