I have a 2006 CBR1000rr. I ride this bike long distances occasionally (sport-touring). Sports bikes are not renown for long distance comfort, but some are better than others. What is the ergonomics of the 2008-2013 1000rr compared to the 2006-7? What is the ergonomics of the 2014-16 1000rr compared to the 2006-7? I have read that the 2014 is not good for tall riders. I am 6’ 1”. Suggestions?

 

I was under the impression those generations were similar ergonomically.

Just go to a dealer and sit on a couple. They should have them on the floor
