How tight should chain be???

I was told there needs to be a about a half in. of play on bottom part of chain is that right?

Ive heard from alot of people that there should be about an inch of deflection, i asked alot of people cuz mine was hella lose!

Hello & Welcome

The chain should have a little play...if your chain is sagging in the center it's way too lose! You should be able to wiggle it a little with your finger. An inch is usually good.
