Hi from Scotland
Hi all,
My name is Stewart and i'm from near loch lomond in scotland, i am going to be getting my first bike in the spring time, (i'm 24) and was looking at getting an cbr 600rr 2004 model as that's within my budget (just), i know some people will be get a crap bike, ride that for a few months then go for a better bike, but that just isn't me, i like throwing myself in the deep end, it's not as if its a 550hp turbo'd hyabusa!! anyway, i was looking at getting it restricted for the first couple of months, what is the best way to do this, i dont mind spending extra if there is a plug and play unit which i can take out no problem and sell on!!
the nike i'm looking at right now is a black 2004 model with no modifications and 4000 miles on it, looks a nice bik but it's come at the wrong time as i won't need it till spring!!
i am going to do a weeks intensive course which will garuntee a pass, i've ridden bikes quite a lot, both trials and road!!
any advice welcome on bike and myself (ie 600rr good/bad idea)
cheers
stewart

lol i knew someone was gonna say that, but welcome and good luck on the rr ive heard some people say that the rr is kind of agressive for a first bike but i guess it always depends on the person so id probably just say go for it and be careful
