Default Hi, newbie here!

Hi Ladies and Gents, I need to ask a quick question but I think its best to take a bit of time and introduce myself.

I'm called Rich if you hadn't guessed from my username and I'm an IT Manager for a company in York, North Yorkshire,UK. 41 years old (although feel loads older!) Married with 2 kids (17 lad and 10 girl)

I have passion for metal working and generally making stuff! For the last 5 years I've made myself a 7 type car from scratch (apart from obvious stuff like wheels/seats and engine, although was completely rebuilt), If you're interested my gallery is Linky Dinky Do Da and generally enjoy ragging it around Yorkshire, been to Squires (near Sherburn in Elmet) a few times so have maybe seen a few of you already

Anyway I think I've bored you enough already and need to go off and pick your brains!

Cheers

Rich

Nah, no cbr replica, we're doing a track/hill climbing car and have decided to use one of the best engines to come out of Japan (imho) hence my other thread asking about exhaust header info.

Cheers

Rich

Hi, thanks for the replies, I think its a 1999 carbed 1100cc blackbird engine, I've included some pictures below that might give you guys some clues.

I could do with knowing if the exhaust headers are similar to other models, ie spacing, dia, flange hole centres etc. The original post is here

Cheers

Rich

That is pretty cool, man. Looks like it could very well be an older bird engine. Very nice. Great motors.
Welcome to the cbrf, and I hope you find the info you're looking for.
