Default Hi! New CBR-F Rider in Staffordshire

Hi There.

My name is dan and I recently bought a 2002 CBR-F!

This is my first big bike as I have ridden Vespa's up until this point.

I picked the bike up on friday and I have to say I am very impressed.

Looking forward to some good weather now!

Here's a few pics.

Welcome!

Congrats on the F4i. Looks like it's in great shape.
Be careful, it's quite a bit more bike than the Vespa...

Welcome to the CBR Forum Dan,

As Demon rightly stated - the CBR is just a little more 'bike' than the Vespa. I had a 150 Super back in the '80s, not sure I'd like to relive that ownership.

Be judicious with the throttle hand for a while!

Cheers, SB

Thanks for the advice. Apart from the fact the Honda is quite a lot faster than the Vespa in my opinion the Honda is much safer! nice to be on a bike that has bigger than 10 inch wheels and useless drum brakes. Still love my Vespa though..

Thanks for the warm welcome

Welcome to the forum neighbour

We (Bugkiller and Butcherspencil - we met on this forum) were up in Staffordshire a fortnight ago picking up a gas heater for our new pad.

We'll have to go for a ride together when the weather is nicer!
