Thanks for this warm welcome!! I'm finding this forum really interesting. Regarding Malta it's nice & beautiful but it's not paradise eighter 
Population is less than 500,000 but full of sportbike fanatics! Weather here is favourable for biking, nearly all year round sunny apart a couple of rainy days in winter. Temperature here is also favourable (except summer afternoons which will be to hot to ride ), infact it never reaches sub zero temp not even in the coldest winter.....we don't know what's snow t!!! & ice! We have our disadvantages as well, as wer'e small we don't have highways like you do so to test some top speed you have to risk a bit (or alot 
) & even drivers here are careless & don't respect motorcyclists!!!

Hey Joseph Im from Malta also But live in Canada now.
i will bew back on the island on the 24th of this month till the 9th of may. will be at muddy waters on the 24th for a drink if you wanna stop by.
is there anyplace i can rent a bike there or is it just mopeds.
Guys you dont understand how beutiful this island is.
