Default Hi From Dallas TX

Hi My name is Joe Yea just Joe
I live in Dallas Texas
My ride is a 1987.5 Hurricane. (dont realy know how it got to be a .5 Callifornia thing I quise)
The origenal collors Where pearl white on Firefighter red Which is a 88 color scheam.
how its like 5 colors from multy bikes.
My brother was the owner before I was and he Kinda killed it thought it was to ride and not take care of it.
He parked it 3 years ago out side in his back yard.
I am 41 year's yung
I do HVAC work for a living (Heating Ventalation and Air Condtioning)
I am married (for now)
I got 3 Kids (1boy 2 girls)

I have started the Process of restoreing the old girl now.
*ebay fuel tank (brother wrecked it and caved in side and was rusted inside)
*ebay front lower fairings including doors
*ebay radiator (Holes rotted in the tanks)
*New Pulse generator (brothers dog chew wires off old one)
*new Fuel pump (he road for over a year with gravity fed)
*new Clutch and Choke cables
*New seat cover (Dogs again)
*cleaned Carbs (3 years of dead fuel)
and the list goes on
It took me 2 weeks just to get her Started and she stell not right Need to pull carbs back off and check the jets.
Brother told me he put stage 2 kits in and didn't think it was enouph so he took a file to them to open them more. should have just put a fuel pump on it.
I got My work cut out for me I know but I had one a while back and loved it. Tell I sled it 75 yards under a car.
nasty ending to say the least!
Im alot older now and wiser so hope I dont do that mistake again.
No I am not a stunter but I do like to go fast and like the turns.
Hope I can find some help on some things here and hope to offer some My self.
My strong points are more to the motor then any thing else But I do a good job at body work so that helps
