Default Hi from CBR 1000F newbie, Yorks-UK

Hi Guys and Gals, great looking website. I have had my 1997 CBR 1000F-v for around a month now, what a superb mile muncher ! I love the Honda build quality and relaibility. I've had an old 'Blade and a couple of 750 VFRs - love 'em all. I also had a R1200 GS beemer, 51K miles in three years, and then tried a 1200 Multistrada for a few months. I soon realised that the high mileage and the all-weather riding would kill the value - so it got replaced by this beauty ! You will see I've a 1997 900SS - whaich has been breathed on a bit - what a super bike too - but for very different reasons !!

Best regards and safe riding to all - dave p.

will try and figure out how to insert photos later !

Welcome to the forum Dave.
Lots of old hurricanes being bought these days, especially in the UK. Quite a surge of members joining lately. From the sound of things you will fit right in. Stop by the saloon and say hi. They're a great bunch of guys that are loyal to their bikes!

Welcome to the forum Dave. As the guys suggested above, hop over to the Hurricane thread and push the Saloon doors open and say Hi.

We have quite a few very active and knowledgable members in the UK and everyone is here to help.

You've had quite a few very desirable bikes, I loved riding a BMW 1200GS through northern Europe a couple of years ago.

Ride safe.

Cheers, SB
