Congrats on your new-to-you F4i. Split-seat models are getting harder to find these days.

RE: Chain & sprockets: Replace your chain & sprockets at the same time. D.I.D & RK are both oem suppliers for factory Honda. There are other quality choices as well. Chain size is 525 & 108 links. Oem sprocket sizes for the F4i are 16/46 & are steel sprockets.

There is lots of feedback on various manufacturers & suppliers here. The F4i section will help you get started w/ asking questions & doing reserach.

Welcome aboard!

Hey,

Update your profile so we know where you are. The UK is a bit vague for us Brits.

Lots of advice and posts re chains/sprckets already here.

Alibaba?...no, sorry. There are many other feedbacks on cbrfairings, delkevic, nicecycle, etc.

You can approach the split-seat in two ways... 1)you can do the split-seat conversion...ie., split-seat subframe & seats, etc...or...2)you can use a race plastic tail that mirrors a split-seat...you won't have to change your subframe but you won't have a rear seat.
