Default Hey, from down under.

Hey all, Kia ora, thought I better do the intro thing. I've had my acct here for a while but have only recently found it again amongst the millions of bookmarks in my browser. I'm located down under in New Zealand living in Taranaki under the shadow of the mountain. I ride something alittle different, an old school 88 CBR 750 that's in awesome condition. Used to have an 87 CBR thou years and years ago and loved it.

Got back into biking again six years ago and got the 750 in August last year. The 750 is a good fit for what I do and I like the jelly mould styling. I've stripped, cleaned and brought the ole girl back to standard apart from fitting a pack rack, so shes tidy and reliable. The ole bike has just clicked over 73000Km's and runs like clockwork. Still manages to keep up with the more modern machines. I ride everyday rain hail or shine and regularly load the bike up and tour around. Cheers, Andy

Welcome! nice pics as well - we have a pretty strong Cane section around here - just watch out for the crazies. ... although.. being from the land of the Kiwi I expect you might be one of them.

Cheers Chaps, Awesome site with amazing amount of info. Have to agree with ya Nate, Kiwi's do tend to be alittle 'different' typically involving something borderline (read mad hehe) comes from being stuck out in the middle of nowhere, so you have to make your own fun! Cheers

Hell, you'll fit right in over in the Hurricane section.
We never got the 750 over this way, but as long as it says Hurricane on it.
