Default Hey From Canada with a '90 600F Hurricane

Hey all. How are you doing. I recently purchased a 1990 Cbr 600F and i love it. the bike has 62,000 km on it, and some scratches on the side, but other than that, shes in great shape.

I am a computer tech and my mechanical skills are limited, however i am trying to do all the work myself with my Haynes manual so i can learn more about my bike.

I have replaced the brake pads in the front, i have to replace the caliper in the back soon. i am in the process of replacing the tires front and back and right now i am trying to work on 3 broken studs in the exhaust manifold area.

from right to left, the first 3 studs are broken. i have the replacement parts but i dont have the tools or the knowledge on how to replace them. hopefully after some digging on this forum i will find the answers i am looking for.

attached are a couple pics of my bike. Cheers all.

Hey All,

as an update;

i have replaced the tires with AVON Road Runners. i have also fixed the exaust. now shes all good to go and i took her to work it me for the first time today. what an exciting time riding for the first time, outside of the neighbourhood (40km/25Mph).

other than cosmetic work, replacing the ride side cowling, shes a beaut.
here are 3 pictures of my bike.

Cheers all.
