Smile hey!

Hi guys, how are we all?? the name is dave or fingers, from the land of oz.........just bought myself a CBR1000F 1993 model, and trolling the forum for some advice...will the cbr start without the instrument cluster? it winds over but has no spark. any ideas on what it could be?

Hey Dave ... welcome to the board! Man are you in luck. We have a huge 1000F contingent here at CBRF. And at least a couple are from Oz. They'll be around shortly to greet you ... just try not to make any sudden movements as they sniff around at first

Plenty of 1000F riders here so make sure you check out the 1000F forum they can probably answer your question

thanks guys......i got it started would you believe it was the petcock rubber valve sticking to its seat!!!!!!!! how good!!!!!!......should have checked fuel too lol, i just checked spark with a dead sparky!!
goes to show how good cbr's are though....2 yrs without being started then starts relatively straight away..... how good lol
