Default Hello from South Dakota/Minnesota

Hello all,

I will be picking up my first bike in a week or so.

It's a 1997 cbr600f3 with about 20,000 miles. It's got a slip on yosh pipe and a custom black/red paint job. It's also got brand new tires, new chain, new battery, and some other little things done to it.

The only thing that pisses me off is that I have a solid month to a month and a half before the roads will be good enough to ride on. Lol

Welcome aboard Frank!
The F3 is a solid bike....sounds like the bike is ready to roll with all the new stuff on it
I'm in the same boat as you....have another 4-6 weeks before its reasonably safe to go riding.
Post some pics of your F3 when you can,we'd luv to see it
Take care & enjoy the forum

Thanks for the warm welcomes, and the good advice on the forums, those manuals should come in handy.

No worries about the pics, as soon as I take delivery I will grace you with some awesome porch pics(Damn snow).

BTW my real name is not Frank Lee, it is supposed to sound like frankly.

We arent that bad down here, I can see the pavement here but there is ice all over the roads, and snow every where pavement isnt.

Just a little bit until we can ride, right? lol

I feel you, too... I think the snow is finally going to start melting this week (fingers crossed), but then we're going to have to get a couple good rains to get all the dang sand off the streets...

From what I remember from last year, this po-dunk town I live in gets the sand off the streets asap.
