Hello, I've lurking in this site for a long time now. Just thought I'd introduce myself & ask a quick question lol. I started off on a 01 cbr f4i last season,AndI am planning on selling it soon to a friend. Looking at moving up a lil, I'm lookin' at a03 cbr 600rr red/blackfor sale for $5,600 with 10,000 miles and afew extras like Jardine rt-one piece pipe, Power Commander IIIr, Vortex rear sets &frame sliders.$1,000 in extras. is this a good deal. I live in Michigan so I wanna get it asap or one like it. just trying to get an Idea of what to expect to pay!?!? Thanks in advance.

 

one of my freinds got an 05 RR for 5350, but it didnt have as many mods as you describe, so yeah, for this zip code that would be a pretty good buy. not TOO high of miles either. what part of michigan you from?

 

I'm in Grand Rapids, well a little out side of it. The roads around here are garbadge unless you get around the lake shores/back roads, than it's smoothsailing lol. Yeah I was thinkin' I hope I can talk him down ato like $5,000but By his addhe looks kinda stiff on the price. Bikes sell like hot cakes around here so I may as well man up & pay the $$$ haha. I'm still waiting on his reply so we'll see.

 

5K would deff be a good deal around here for that kind of merchandise. oklahoma highways are NOTORIOUSLY bad.. seriously, they just flat suck. even in the city theyre pathetic. shoot im out on lake michigan a couple times a year, ill pm you before i head up there next time

 

I wen't checked it out on the 4th it's a fairly clean bike just a couple scratches that I will fix right a way. I offered $5,400 to compensate me having to repair the damage.so we'll see. it's not been on sale too long, so he thinks he can get full price and probably will around here. but he said he'll take it if no one else gives him a better offer than me. anyways thanks for the advice ttyl.
