Default A quick hello

Hi,

New member here, from the UK. Drinks are on me.

Also attached a pic of my new CBR600 Fsport, traded in my KTM LC4 640 a short while ago. Really enjoying the new bike. Sorry if I posted in the wrong section.

Thanks, when I get a sec I want to remove the Shell / Bridgestone / Nissin vinyls. Take off the yellow rim tape and maybe put on red. When I get some extra cash ill get Gilles Rear Sets and a Full high mount M4 system and fit a undertail with tail tidy.

Awesome machine, but the green needs to go! Whats the speed limit over there?

I had an F4 and now have an F4I...the F4I is snappier and you don't have to choke it because it's fuel injected. You'll have a blas on the f4!

That's not an F4 Vt. It's some sort of a differant countries model of an F4i. Look real close under the F4 sticker

It is an CBR600FSport. Which is the same as our North American F4i. The non sport model had a passenger grab rail, and a center stand.. also it never had a black frame and swing arm. It is an F4i for all intensive purposes.

No doubt, you learn something new every day...i wonder what the difference between the "foreign" F41 and ours...i see the tiny f4i sticker now-

Yup its an F4i, love the "auto choke", its my first FI bike, used to ride a 98 600 SRAD with carbs, slightly better midrange power, but the Honda just feels like it pulls smoother right through the rev range. Overall a nicer bike to ride.

Speed limits in UK as follows:

Suburbs and towns - 30mph
A roads, country lanes etc. - 60mph
Motorway, highways - 70mph

On a motorway we can tend to push about 80 before attracting unwanted attention.

Oh yeah, my manual states F4i and F-sport, apparently exactly the same bike. Although I think our emission standards werent as strict as yours so the ECU may be slightly different?

Why doesn't honda just make an F4I and leave it at that?
