Hello all, just signed up and just got an "89" CBR1000F. Haven't got it yet as its in transit from northern NSW. Should get it in about a week. I've wanted one from the first day I got my license (loooooong time ago) but its the one I never got.....but not any more!

Thanks for the welcome guys. Should get the bike in about a week.....I missed the last transport by a few days!!!
I'll stick some photos on when I get it. The old fella I bought it off reckons its in great nick....so we'll wait & see......you guys can help me judge. Hoggy.

D'oh!

Not even sure how that thread popped up near enough the top that I thought to reply to it (and failed to check dates). Thought I was just browsing new member area, but perhaps was a search. I'm not entirely with it today obviously, so thanks for pointing out that gaffe.

Edit: worked it out it showed up as the top 'related topic' while looking at my new member thread. Dumb of me not to notice just how old it was (not as old as me though, few things are...).
