Default Hello from Edwin and his CBR

Hello everyone, i'm new to this forum but I've been on other forums (1000rr.net, pensacolariders.net) I have a 2009 CBR 1000rr, I've been riding her since February when i bought her with 3 miles from the dealer. My first bike was a 2005 Honda CBR 600rr and it was difficult to part with but the upgrade was worth it. I attached my new bike and my old one just to honor it. I have a laundry list of upgrades i plan to make after returning from deploying but the first ones are, fender eliminator, solo seat, rearsets, levers, etc.

welcome to the site, edwin -- the white is tight! i think you'll find this forum a more helpful, safer and civilized place than other forums; not so many egos to trip over.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. Yeah i took the 1000 out for a ride to panama city (2.5 hours), and i learned that a gel seat will probably be a wise investment and going 78 in a 55, passing traffic or not, is an expensive ticket to pay. Overall awesome weekend, awesome bike. Thanks again everyone and Happy 4th!

Yeah $276! Not bad for my first ticket but i'm glad he didn't catch us doing 120+. Still i was gonna use the money for a new set of levers, or chain guard.
