Default Hello from Colorado!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I run my shop out of my garage and just picked up a 92' F2 for $600. Lots of ideas for updating and I look forward to being part of the CBR family!

Welcome to the community Beez.

$600 is pretty cheap, what kind of condition is it in? There is lots of info on the F2 here to help you, if you need it. Maybe you will even be able to help someone out as well.

Welcome to CBRF Beez!

$600 for an F2 in decent condition will make for a fun project.

Settle in & enjoy the forum. :-)

Thanks everyone! I picked up a used set of fairings from a 06' 600rr and was planning on going that route. I've never done a conversion like this so I'm excited to get into it. The plan is to do the bike in Honda championship white with vintage BBS gold colored wheels. Its a very subtle, almost flat, light gold color. I've always like championship white so I figured why not? Its a Honda after all. I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions about things as I go, but it seems like this conversion has been done with good success so I'm sure I'm in the right place for finding answers.

Sounds like a good plan. I've always liked that color gold on wheels. Post up a progress/mod thread. Everyone always enjoys threads like that. :-)
