Hello cbrfourm!
Hello,
I just registered an account after checking out the 600f hurricane section and thought I would pop over to new members and say hello to the community. I am already the proud owner of a complete 1988 600f and am about to purchase a second for 150. The bike is in very rough shape and I am looking to do a full restore/street fighter/03 or 06 conversion to it depending on how things look after I get the engine running. I figured the forum would both be interested and a valuable resource for help as this is the largest restoration I have undertaken. Once the bike is picked up I will be posting pictures. So hello everyone and I'm looking forward to being a member of the community here!

Yes $150 , I went to see it today and it did not start but the engine was turning over; bike shifted through all gears and rolled so engine is not seized. Figured it can only be so many things eg: carbs/spark/compression. The front fairing is worthless it looks like someone laid the bike down or got into a crash and was scared off it. The side fairings look okay but will need some work. The turn signals all have the mounts broken and are hanging off the bike. The inside of the gas tank is caked in rust so I get to experiment with electrolysis. Worst case I can just take what I need for my hurricane and part the rest out, however I would much rather bring it back to life again. The only picture I have of it atm is the picture the current owner took of the bike. Once I pick it up (hopefully tomorrow weather permitting) more pictures will come.

It was a craigslist find. He has reposted the bike and is now asking $450 because he got it running. I don't know if I want go for it since I just picked up a 88 fz600 for $320. I will likely give it a few days and text him seeing if he will take $200, ill keep posting as the situation develops.
