Welcome to the forum.

The split seat conversion is quite popular. There are a few threads about it. Member "gotcbr" has a picture tutorial in his album. Check it out. https://cbrforum.com/forum/members/g...onversion-523/

welcome to CBRF. gotcbr's tutorial is a very good one for switching to the split seat. as far as a fender eliminator - all i did was take off the plastic piece and mocked up a 7in wide piece of aluminum stock for my license plate holder.

i'd need some pics in order to see where what connects to what to better describe it. but so long as you don't take the undertail out, get rid of the fender, and make sure you have a sturdy bracket for your aluminum stock, you're good to go.

plus i'm sure if you search DIY fender eliminator in our how to section, you'll find something.

enjoy the forum
