Default Hello from Cali

Hey! I joined last year when I bought a 93 CBR600 F2 off craigslist from a guy that lived nearby. This forum has been a great resource so I decided to introduce myself! I first joined to find out some info on the bike then found out the guy I bought the bike from was actually a member of this forum too haha. I live in the foothills about an hour east of Stockton and since I bought the bike I've slowly been trying to get it to run and look great. I recently ordered some fairings from the Chinese dealers which should be here within a couple weeks hopefully so I'll probably post some new pics of my bike then but here's what it looked like when I first got it:

The bike still looks good but I really liked the look of the aftermarket repsol fairings and want to make my bike look perdy so I bought those haha! Thanks for everything!!

Wow, you're right Kuro, 7 months of slinking about like Gollum in here. Better take it slow and let your pupils adjust ...lol.

Welcome to CBRF Kuso!! Since you're not really new and I'm sure you can find your way about like pro by now, I'll spare you the usual newbie links and such. Other than a bit of rash and some errant stickers, you have a really nice looking F2. I always thought that color scheme looked sharp with the white wheels. I look forward to seeing her with the repsol fairings though.

Good luck getting her just the way you want her and keep enjoying the forums.

Welcome, Kuso! Not a bad looking F2 at all. A couple of bumps, but otherwise looks good.
Looking forward to seeing the repsol plastics, though.....I wish you luck.
Take care and ride safe.

Thanks guyz! I did get pretty good at lurking about and learned lots of things just from reading posts..the search function is my best friend haha. But I wanted to at least try and contribute since I've learned so much and just recently really started getting into riding my bike thanks to Spring and I'm pretty much addicted to it now haha! But I noticed lots of people like to see info on the Chinese fairings dealers so I figured I'd introduce myself then post a review of mine when I get 'em.

That's very cool of ya, man. It certainly is a hot topic. My buddy was thinking about getting some for his F2, also. His plastics are wrecked.... big time...
(he'd be happy just to have some as nice as yours)

Hey Trout I'd be willing to sell ur buddy my fairings I have on now after I get my new ones. I don't really know how much they're worth but I can take some new pics of all the pieces..it was really windy one day and knocked my bike over while it was on my driveway It snapped one of the hinges on the right side little fairing window deal and scuffed it up a little bit. Fixed it with a ziptie so the window doesn't pop off. But anyways lemme know..I'll have a huge box to send everything in too after I get those repsol ones haha.

Welcome aboard kuso!
An hour east of Stockton, eh?
I used to live in Stockton back in '80-'83.....I miss Cali!
Overall your bike looks in good shape, sans fairings
Looking forward to seeing pics with the new fairings
