Default Hello from British Columbia

Hey.
Name is Charlie. Up here in Kamloops BC. Finally let my finances free of the grasps of my Skyline and got my first bike, a 2000 CBR600 F4 with 9800 miles. Just got my bike learners licence a week and a half ago (I used to ride dirt when I was younger, so I am not NEW to bikes, just new to bikes on the street). This site looks like a wealth of information.. Should prove to be good times ahead!
Oh.. and pics FTW.

Sweet F4, Charlie... very nice. I like the effort on the pics, too.

Welcome to the CBRF, man!

Thanks. I am a bit of a photographer.
OH! Don't mind the spot on the ground under the bike in the last pic, the bike isn't leaking...

I figured you might be. I am not. I think it took me 10 tries last night to get a good shot of an air filter....
(and by "good" shot, I mean you can tell what it is... )

thanks for the comments guys!
bike isnt perfect, which is why i bought it. low mileage, mechanically sound. its got some scuffs, cracks, and a chunk missing out of the faring. that will all be addressed soon.. after ive got some miles on her...
so you want skyline pics?
its a long story. bittersweet. I must add that none of my accidents were in any way my fault or avoidable.
#1 1990 GTS-t. GTR look a like, minor performance mods. Gorgeous. Rearended at HWY speed. Written off.

#2 1992 GTS (non turbo) project car. Rearended. Written off. (made $4000 from insurance on this one)

#3 1991 GTS-t 4 door. Origin kit. Champagne paint. Started to mod the motor. Rearended. Written off. (I made another $4000 off this one)

#4 (current one, and I'm keeping this one dammit) 1991 GTS-t. 4 door. Same Origin Kit. RB25 NEO BB turbo, GTR injectors, wally 255 fuel pump, JIC Magic Coilovers, splitfire coils, GReddy FMIC. 275hp/268 tq @ 18psi. Soon to get cams, adj cam gears, light flywheel, 3 puck clutch, and nistune. Will be good for 350hp on this setup (Until the LS1 goes in this winter when my 1995 STi Type RA arrives). This car won top Import at the show in this pic.

and just incase any of you want to feel sick. when i said we were hit at hwy speed in the first one. we were stopped on the hwy for a dumb tourist. 3/4 ton dodge pickup didnt touch his brakes.. my daugter was in the back. incredible safety design. no injuries aside from me.

Update on the bike. Found a plastics kit. Stupid crap quality... Got tired of a scratched up bike with a missing chunk... Got mirrors and tail light with built in signals on their way, and will be making a fender eliminator once those get here. Here she is after I gave up on the front fairing for the day and just wanted to ride... Its 1/2 complete...
