Default Hello

I am now the proud owner of a very well taken care of '94 cbr 600 f2. I drove it home about 50 miles and it ran flawlessly. In another life (when I had more money) I have owned (not all at the same time) as follows : 2002 zx 1200, 2003 gsx-r 1300, 1999 zrx 1100, 2005 gsxr 1000, 2006 gsxr 750, and a 2003 fz1. So I am wondering if I will really like my new purchase? I plan on riding in the twistys here in Oregon as well as doing some camping with it. Any comments I am open to.
I currently own a 1973 BMW R 75/5, 2002 XR 650l, 2000 Moto Guzzi V1100 sport, and a 1990 Fatboy (the gray ghost)
I want to buy some good tires that will not go bald within 3000 miles, any suggestions?

I've heard great things about pilot road3's. And I think the old cbr's are very enjoyable. Not as much power as some of your older bikes, but fun none-the-less.

Welcome to CBRF! It won't pull like your thousands did - but it'll be a fun bike.

Welcome to CBRF... Impressive list of steeds you got there... While the F2 will be a bit down on power (compared to your previous bikes) I think that you will come to love the light weight and ease of cornering that the F2 offers... Enjoy...

Welcome to the forum and the Pilots are probably a good suggestion.

Default Roger Snell New to me '94 F2

Thanks for the replys! I look forward in getting to know some of the CBR community. I will post a pic of my new bike soon. I plan on using Rotella T 15w 40 motor synthetic oil and a Purolator One filter PL 4612. I purchased new Piolet Road 2 for my bike today, I have had Pilot Roads on other bikes and they have held up nicely. Does anybody know if you can purchase the door for the tool box? Mine seems to be missing.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Roger,

I was reading out your current and past bike ownership and Mrs SB told me to get my hand off it!!

Nice stable. I hanker for a BMW 75/5................

Cheers, SB

Default re the r75/5

I have had the BMW for about 10 years, the negative is that parts have steadily going up up up. Thanks for the reply
