Default greetings from the north

hi, new to this site so i figured i'd say hello. i'm from anchorage ak and the snow is almost completely gone so people are breaking out the bikes. starting to see them all over. had a 99 600 F4 a couple years ago. just picked up a used 03 F4I last week. needs a complete fairing kit among a few other minor things but i should be on the road in a few weeks. anyways, nice site.

thanks for the welcomes. i'd say people started riding about the beginning of april. as of right now the snow hasn't completely melted from people's yards but the main roads have been clear for a while. a little chilly though. then you can ride until sometime in october. there's usually snow on the ground by halloween. but the roads will start to get icy before that. so actually, as far as riding, you could probably ride about half the year. dress warm of course.
