[:-]just bought a CBR 1000 f 1987 taking my mc driving card so i was told it is a good bike to start with (dosen`t go up on the back wheel very easy ) it will come later maybe. seems to be a good site lots of info great service manual
( so thats where the brakes are , who knew ) buying this bike was the best thing i ever did and i mean ever

Hello & Welcome!!

I don't think a 1K is a good starter bike, but it is older, so it levels out with todays power. Nice looking bike and be careful...first upgrade...sliders!

dont make the same mistake i did and think u dont need em...cause u will drop it at least once...i did, and now my brand new 06 f4i is not so brand new looking
