Default Got my 1st sport bike

Well, first off, my name is Brian, I live in Ohio, I'll be 31 next week, etc, etc.

Anyway, I've been riding for a couple years now and this is actually my 1st sport bike, 5th bike overall. I guess you could say my '81 CB750 was a sport bike once upon a time, but let's be real here.

I rode a damn near mint condition 1997 Intruder last season and while it ran great, sounded mean, and I kinda loved it, I've always wanted a sport bike so I started searching craigslist.

Friday I drove all the way to Maryland and traded my Intruder for a 2000 F4. It's silver/red, 27k miles, full SS Micron exhaust, a handful of Vortex parts, etc., I'll get more into that later.

The only thing seemingly wrong with my F4 is some road rash. It's not all cracked up or anything but definitely noticeable and some scratches are pretty deep and I'm pretty **** about the looks of my bike so I will eventually be fixing this one way or another, I'm just basically flat broke currently. I'm employed and make decent money, it's just a bad time of year.

All in all I hope I made a good trade and I'm not the sucker in this deal. I will post pics when the forums allow me. Let me know what you think, and thanks for having me.

Welcome aboard Brian!

Congrats on getting your F4. I have a 2000 F4 as well. Come on over to the F4 section & post up pics when you get a chance. If you need help w/ any issues, you can get help in the F4 section or other sections on the board as well.

Good to have you w/ us. Enjoy your new-to-you bike.
