fuel light

Default fuel light

Hello all!
I am new on the forum. Nice to to meet you all!
I have a 01 Honda CBR 929 . I was riding to work the other day when i ran out of gas on the freeway ! My low fuel light never came back on does anybody no the fix for this?

Welcome, welcome! Mine’s a 97 and don’t have LF indicator so I am not sure what your issue is. Though I would think maybe loose/broken wire or maybe bulb burnt out.

Im still working through a fuel consumption issue myself so I constantly look in the tank after going 100 miles to make sure I don’t end up walkin’.

There is a little sensor on the fuel pump bracket. Could be that, wiring to it, or the bulb which is built in to the cluster.

Not all that reliable, go by mileage.
