Hey, So I'm still shopping for a bike, sigh. I found a 1998 CBR600 for sale near by. Called the guy, and its still availiable. However, I looked it up on KBB and KBB says there are 2 CBR600's made in 1998. The F3, and SE. How can I tell which it is? Also, what should I be looking for when I go look at it?

I do plan to ride it as is for a while, at least 6 months, then re-do the fairings, and make it look like an F4. Maybe toss the 2003 600RR tail. If anyone has some good info on this subject, I could use that too! I guess I'd have to buy the headlights from a newer bike too...

they are essentially the same bike,
one is simply the smokin' joe edition... kind of a nice paint job and plastics and such.

you cant go wrong with either one.

 

Ok, so very little difference, I like that. I'm hopefully going to see it tomorrow afternoon...

And I thought this was the general F3 section Sprock. Didn't know there was an F3 1000... I posted in General F3
