First Timer
Hi there all
First time on the site, just bought a 2003 954 red, balck don't have a licence but after wanting a bike for years finally decided to get one. After looking at the top four Jap bikes (R1 ZX10 GSXR1000 and fireblade) I decided to go with the Firebalde. After reading all the reports on the net and talking to riders, all reports advised go for the firebalde. After picking the colour that I liked I had to buy the 2003 model I just love the red and black colour scheme. Booked in to get licence in 2 weeks and will post picture as soon as I can obtain a small enough file to send.
Kind Regards
Fireblade the name you know and trust

Welcome to CBR Forums!! Defintely can't wait to see pics of your bike...
I notice you mentioned you don't have your (motorcycle) license yet... I'd definitely encourage you to take the MSF (or equivalent) course... I'm preparing to take mine pretty soon, but I've heard it's definitely a lifesaver (especially since you're not starting out on a little bike!!)

great to hear from you. All i can say is were good gear you know what they say "there are two kinds of riders the ones that have been down and the ones that are going to" ride safe i second taking the MSF
DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY take the MSF course in your area. You ares tarting out on a bike that is only a few steps away from "full race specs". Respect it and it will treat you right. Welcome to the site, good to have you with us![&:]
