Default First Real Ride

Well other than being new here I had my first real ride since taking the MSF class which was about two months ago. Went alot better than I expected other that one little scare where someone in an SUV thought i was gonna try and make the yellow light and realized I was stopping so they proceed to swerve around me and go through the intersection. Other than that it was GREAT!

Welcome to the Forums, D-Rail!
So what are you riding? Got any pics? We love pics!!

Glad you kept your cool with the SUV incident... unfortunately, it won't be the last stupid move that someone makes around you.
Just stay cool, ride safe, and wear your gear!
Welcome aboard, bud!

No pics at the moment but it is a 2006 CBR1000 Yeah I am learning on a liter bike and I do feel very comfortable on it. Its my brother-in-laws and i do plan on getting something not as powerful once I can afford it. When ever he lets me ride it I do make sure i grab a helmet, gloves, and jacket (do not have my own riding shoes/boots yet).

What did you learn on with the msf class? I just got my licence and learned on a buell. Once I got my cbr 600 and started to ride, whoa.. I'm only about 2 weeks in of riding. Good luck on that 1000.

you must have a very trusting brother-in-law or he must be loaded.

I assume a 1000F ?
Wishful thinking, steve...
Unfortunately, we get no more 1000Fs .... (although we can still dream...)
It's a 2006, so it must be an RR.

Like others have said, D-Rail... you have a very trusting brother in law. I wouldn't let one of my REAL siblings ride my CBR, and it's 14yrs old..lol..

We'll just pretend that he edited that "2006" in there....
Just pretend...
