Hey guys my name is peter, im new to the forum and i've got myself in a tight budge. I recently bought a 06 f4i gas tank for my 01 f4i but after i put everything together and put gas in it, gas started leaking from the bottom. I was wondering if i need a 06 gas pump to match the tank or what??

 

oh and when i put the 01 tank back on there was no leak.

 

Tank maybe leaking from a seam ?
Maybe you bought a damaged one ?

yea i think its the gasket and seal from what everyone tells me lol and thanks for the welcome :]
