Engine swap
Hello, does anyone know if a 2019 Honda cbr 500 engine will fit in a 2017 Honda cbr 500? I’m looking to buy a 2019 engine and put it in my 2017 but want to make sure it will fit before I buy it. Thanks!

Not sure if anyone will be able to give you a definitive answer on that one....
However having had a quick look around, there does not seem to have been any material changes in engine / frame areas since the introduction of the CB500F/X and CBR500R since its intro in 2013 which is common to all models, so it should fit....
Why are you looking to change the engine? I also have a 99 CB500 which this engine is derived from and it is fairly indestructible
