Did you guys read my post? You're doing what they want. All they are after is your email so they can collect and sale valid address.

First... we know this is a scam... I proved that by finding a year old listing selling the same bike in Scotland... same VIN and same write up. For a bike with only 372 miles on it... it sure does get around a lot.

If anyone wants to see the listing, I still have the link. It’s on another forum and even moderators can’t break the rules… I’ll PM it to you.

cbr04, I wasn't saying anything bad... sorry if you took offense to what I typed.

Ok… I list a 2006 CBR 600RR that was bought for me for Christmas… only has 300 miles on it and I’m selling it because I’m afraid of it. Auction starts at $100 and a buy it now price of $2000. How many sportbikes lovers are going to use their valid email address to contact me on the “bids open to approved bidders only listâ€. Now I have your email and a few hundred more and all it cost me was the listing price on eBay. I do that a few times and I have thousands of valid emails to sell to SPAMMERS.

thanks alot guys, here is the response i got

Hello,

I received your e-mail about my bike 2004 HONDA CBR600 RR. The bike is in perfect working condition, with no damage at all, the title is clear.
Total price with shipping included is $2500 .First you need to know that now I`m located in United Kingdom with my wife because she will suffer a kidney transplant. For our protection I want to make the transaction thru eBay Motors. You will have 14 business days to inspect the bike before I will receive the payment from them.
In this way we will be 100% protected. If you are interested please reply.

I`m waiting for your reply.

Best Regards

Alex McCoy

so thanks alot for the help and anyone that comes across a bike too good to be true with a "must be a pre-approved bidder" at the top, dont waste your time. thanks guys. i would only do business with these guys if they were close so i could give money on spot for the bike but obviously these guys are a scam and thank you very much.

Wow. It is amazing how many scams like this there are on Ebay and other places like this. In the same regards it is amazing how many people fall for these scams. This one is pretty cut and dry that it is a scam. Glad you didn't get scammed. Buyer beware.
