ok ive come across a bunch of bikes that have the same saying across the top, and i live 30 mins away so im not gonna send him any money it will be a local pick up and what not. so im just wondering if anyone can set any light positively or negatively on these auctions. cuz there are a lot but i dont wanna get screwed over. thanks in advance.

sounds fishy but if you live close by and could actually put your hands on the bike and ride it along with making sure it aint stolen it could be one hell of a deal

Go see it, ask plenty of questions this normally weeds out the scammers.

 

This is kind of funny..... I found a thread on a different forum... in Scotland!!! A member is asking about this same bike with the same VIN. He's worried because it's in American colors and this was posted back in Feb 2005. If this doesn't make sense.... RUN AWAY!!!!!! The seller is just trying to get a batch of valid email address. If you contact him, he'll probably never reply back.

probably right. i ran into something very similar to this. a customization company in indianapolis (one hour from me) was selling a turbo/stretched/lowered/nitrous hayabusa with a buy it now price of $3500. i don't like busas but what a steal. i emailed them and called them (ran the company's name on information). no answers and number had been disconnected. if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.
